As we prepare to release student schedules in a virtual format this year, it is imperative that you submit your utility bill (electric, gas or water) digitally. When you email the bill, please make sure you send the portion showing your name, address and dates of service!
Utility bills must match the primary address and contain the name of a household parent or guardian. Please send a digital copy of your July or August bill to the school email, email@example.com, with the subject line student last name, student first name, student grade.
For those who submit all required documents by noon on August 6, schedules will be released and available in a digital format on an early release date of Friday, August 7.
Sixth graders, plus any new seventh or eighth graders and their families who have met the August 6 deadline for submission of documentation, will be invited to come to the school on Saturday, August 8, to practice their locker combinations and look around the facility. Details with a sign-up form will be sent at a later date.
For families who submit required documents after this early release timeframe, we will release schedules on Tuesday, August 11. To receive your class schedule on this date, you must submit all required documents by noon on Monday, August 10.
The required tasks to complete in order to receive student schedules include:
1. Completion of Annual Update
Parents or guardians of students currently enrolled at Sequoyah Middle School for the 2019-2020 school year are required to complete an Annual Update for 2020-2021 by logging into the Parent Portal. https://edmondschools.infinitecampus.org/campus/portal/edmond.jsp
Verify any residency paperwork or change of primary address with house papers with our Registrar. Please call 340-2900 to schedule an appointment regarding residency verification.
2. Tdap booster
All students entering the 7th grade in the 20-21 school year will be required to provide documentation of a Tdap booster (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) given at age 10 years or above.
This record can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or faxed to the school at 340-2909.

Additional fines may be paid by cash or check to the school during the week of July 27th.
4. Proof of Residency
Take a picture, scan or forward the email from your utility provider to email@example.com with the subject line student last name, student first name, student grade (Example – Smith, John 6th Grade)

If you are unable to email a copy of the utility bill, you may bring a copy to the school beginning July 20, Monday-Thursday between the hours of 8am and 3pm.
If you are unable to complete any of these requirements electronically, please call the school for assistance, 340-2900 beginning July 15.
Again, no schedules will be distributed in person this year. Please remove the previously published date of August 11 from your calendars.
